"I am running for election as county commissioner in haywood county."
I have lived in this county all of my life except for the time I attended law school. I am a graduate of Tuscola High School inWaynesville, NC. A graduate of Western Carolina University and a graduate of Campbell University School of Law.
I believe my experience as an Attorney, Assistant District Attorney, District Court Judge, Chief District Court Judge for over 33 years here in the 30th Judicial District, and more recently for the past six years as an NC certified mediator, Judge and Attorney General for the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians has given me a unique opportunity and experience to understand the serious problems our county and state face. I would be honored to continue to serve in a different capacity and look forward to working hard to solve these problems.

Voting for the right person is important. It's crucial that we know and understand what each candidate stands for and will work towards.
Let's Talk About the Issues
The issues facing our county are personal to me. These are hard issues, and we need to talk about them and come up with solutions for each one.
Interested in volunteering for my campaign for commissioner? I would love to hear from you. Let's get to work and reach our goals together.
